Alma Mater by Rita Mae Brown

01 Oct

Vic Savedge is a senior at William & Mary, during the 1980’s, who is stunningly beautiful and is about to be engaged to a football hero, Charly Harrison. Then she meets Chris-a transfer from Pennsylvania and a woman. As the two women fall in love, Vic has to follow her heart even if it means confronting her affluent family.

Very likeable and well developed characters. A lot of little stories or offshoots that add to the complexity of the novel. 2001, 260 pages.
