Christmas Cookie Murder by Leslie Meier

28 Sep

Lucy Stone, reporter and amateur sleuth, is excited about the continued ‘cookie recipe exchange’ tradition in Tinker’s Cover setting off a great holiday season. But when the new day care worker in town shows up murdered the next day-Christmas seems to be a distant idea. Who is a murderer in this sleepy little town and when will they strike again?

Very quick, plot driven book, but it also develops the main characters a bit. A good portrait of small town life. #4 in Lucy Stone series. 1999, 232 pages.
