27 Sep

Having survived the first two years of her training to become a knight, Kel is now a squire and needs a knight-master to teacher the practical side of being a knight. Being a girl, no one wants to take her under their wing until she meets Raoul-one of the best knights out there. The book chronicles Kel’s journey to ‘the ordeal’ which will being her to knighthood.

As with the previous books, there is a lot of action and suspense in this novel. The characters are strong, passionate and honorable. Readers will get to know them over the course of the series and will be hesitant to let go.

#3 in the Protector of the Small series. 2001, 380 pages.
