Single White Vampire by Lynsay Sands

27 Sep

This uproariously hilarious romance features an intrepid romance editor, Kate C. Leever, who goes to Toronto to convince reclusive romance writer Lucern Argeneau to do some publicity. She has no idea that he is a gorgeous, silvery-eyed 612-year-old vampire, and that the characters in his best-selling vampire romance novels have the same names and occupations as members of his family. (Booklist)

Fast paced with lots of action and dialogue. Emotional attachment to the characters, but you do not get a character analysis. Revolves around the love interest of the two main characters. People are emphasized, not events. Light & humorous read. Not important to the story-in fact, you never discover where the conference is being held besides “the states.” 2003, 369 pages.
