Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella

27 Sep

Sophie Kinsella’s second Shopaholic title gives us the same Becky Bloomwood who loves to shop and who almost learned a lesson in book number one. Luke Brandon, current hottie boyfriend, takes Becky to New York to open up a new agency and suddenly Becky is awash in brand new stores in a brand new country with a personal mantra of It’s foreign money, so it doesn’t count right?” Memorable characters are what makes this light, quick chick lit read. 2002, 336 pages.
