Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan

27 Sep

In this American fantasyland, everyone is accepted for who they are. Paul, a high-school sophomore is gay. Big deal! Everyone knows and nobody cares. Even in this unusual world, love doesn’t always run smoothly. An upbeat gay novel for teens that is very unusual.

This book is a quick and light read that offers straight-forward text with lots of dialogue. The characters are easy to identify with on some levels. The focus is on a small group of characters and how they interact with each other. Background is minimal. The storyline is filled with humor and is very exterior in intent. 2003, 185 pages.
